Combining the creativity of a professional designer and the know-how of a former builder, Dave Snider is a Registered Landscape Architect with a keen eye for design as well as practical knowledge of construction processes.

Design Consultation

Whether it’s a new build or renovation of your existing outdoor space, landscape design can be confusing. A Design Consultation is an opportunity for you to walk your property with Dave and gain some fresh ideas. He can help you clarify your goals, answer your design questions, and give you inspiration for what your yard can become.

Your design consultation is $200 (plus hst) and typically lasts 1-2 hours.

Concept Plan

If you would like to go more in-depth, the next step is a Concept Plan. In this stage Dave will create a plan for your outdoor living space. This will include arranging the elements of your yard in the most pleasing and efficient way, taking into consideration your needs and practical constraints such as building codes. This will be presented to you in graphic form in a follow-up discussion so that you can get a good sense of how your space will look, and after this meeting any revisions will be made accordingly.

The cost for the Concept Plan will depend on the size and complexity of your project, and will be discussed at the Design Consultation. Typically clients spend $800 - $3000 for a Concept Plan.

Additional Landscape Architectural Services

We are also available to assist you in more specific areas, such as:

• site analysis and planning

• detailed working drawings and technical specifications

• advising on regulatory requirements

• assisting in acquiring permits from government agencies

• Lighting plans

• Irrigation plans
